The PANTRON safety sensors are designed for use with the PANTRON ISL safety light barrier. These sensors meets the requirements of EN61496-2.
The individual pairs operate as through-beam sensors and have a very small design. One great advantage of the sensors is that they may, due to their small design, be mounted anywhere in the manufacturing plant.
This system consists of an amplifier ISL-8000 and a pair of safety sensors (one transmitter IST-… and one receiver ISR-…) per channel.
Safety instructions!
Do not look into the transmitter!
It’s possible, that highly concentrated non visible infrared light is emitting out of the transmitter IST-..., which can be hazardous to the human eye.
